Look At the Birds!

I looked out the window one morning and saw the birds flying in formation, landing, then flying again, landing somewhere else and so on. It was captivating to watch and I decided that we needed to get closer to the action. The kids and I got in the van and got a close up view to which our lucky neighbors already had because they could watch it from their family room windows. At one point the birds flew so close to our van we feared we would become either the next landing target or the next excretive target. We became neither!
